Well, I think this is all correct but if it isn't please say so. If your talking about glider proffing, I wouldn't let a glider play in a room with a fire in it. It's because your fire has a cover over it and if your glider were to fall on it that is hot!It could burn it's paw or worse. It just sounds like two much of a recipe for disaster. If your talking about caging it there, the main thing to watch is the heat. What tempature is it in the room with the fire? Most rooms with fire in it is a lot hotter. You go from a room with 80, to 64. Don't let the tempature exceed 85.

I don't think its very safe if they fell on the fire they could get hurt very badly...
