How long does it take before gliders get comfortable jumping around, mine she gets in good jumping spots and looks as if she is going to jump but wont, then she will pace back and forth looking for a way to crawl down instead of jumping.. (There not big jumps either, like from my knee to the floor when i am sitting indian style.)

hmm...gliders dont usually jump to the floor unless they have to... ...a good way to teach your glider to jump and then glide is get a treat, put your glider up somewhere high, and then encourage your glider to jump to you. you might have to start at a few inches, then a foot, and so on, and your glider will get used to jumping to you. once your glider is jumping far enough to open its gliding membrane, youre good to go, your glider will take it from there. its really important to provide places for your glider to climb and jump during playtime tho, if you have a cage your glider wont be able to get the same distance.
