I just got a female sugar glider and she will occasionaly lick some gliderade off my finger, but when shes in her little pouch I carry around with me she crabs at me and nips. What should I do?

Gliders grab and nip when they want to be left alone...When is this happening - during the day or night? If it is happening during the day, your glider is letting you know it wants to sleep. You should (if you can) keep the glider with you during the day so it gets used to your scent, but let it sleep...Always offer it a treat when you put it in the pouch. Once the glider bonds to you, it'll be happy to play with you at night.
