Even if it says that they are legal in texas, they aren't always legal where in your locality. eg. In Canada, it may be legal to own a tiger but in the town I live, it isn't. You should check locally as well as state wide.

I know that it is legal to own a sugar glider in texas but like O M O said it might not be legal in oyur town

I am USDA licsened in Texas and to my knowledge it is not illegal in Allen I did check with the city and the county and they said that it was fine.. I hope this helps
