I recently got a second glider to keep my little one company. IT IS THE BEST THING I COULD HAVE DONE!! They are both females and both are really well bonded to me. Getting a second glider doesn't seem to add to the workload either. Let us know what you decide!

I TOTALLY agree with Mala. Gliders are social animals. In my opinion, they deserve to have another of their kind. I got a male for my female glider. They are about 3 months apart. I was going to get my male neutered, but his testicles never dropped, so he is sterile. They LOVE each other. the moments that I have seen them playing and snuggling together are so touching. I can't imagine having the one without the other now.

We bought our male and female together, but still, I would buy another glider because gliders are social animals, and it seems like they would do better when with a companion instead of solitary, especially if you don't take them out every night, because then they have someone to play with.

Hi, I used to have one all by himself and because there wasn't another glider, he needed a lot of attention. Well, unfortunately he had hypoglycemia and died from a seizure one day and in my grief and loss ended up getting a rescue pair from a breeder. Well, since I've only had one before, I never realized how nice it is to have more than one. My pair is a breeding pair and they are so loving and sweet to each other although it took a little time to bond with me. But now they love me though are still a little timid. I only had them for two months now. It is sooo neat to see them together and how affectionate they can be so I would say it is a good idea to have another one.

cant argue with that...two is the way to go..i also started with one..and although i would ply with him every night..he still looked so sad when i would wake up in the morning...cause the rest of the night he hd nothing to do, getting a second glider was the best thing i could have done. good luck
