Hey everyone i was just wondering, although i know i haven't found anyhting in my research so far so i am figuring they aren't safe, if the hamster and gerbil tubes are safe to use for the gliders? if they are too small they how about while my glider is still small enough to fit through them. tanks

My guys enjoy the large, cardboard play tubes - after they are done playing in them they just tear them up and demand another. I haven't tried the plastic ones - seems they would pee and poop all over the darn things. N.

My friend bought the big maze hamster tube dealy. Her gliders loved it....I'm sure it was a pain in the butt to clean though! We get little boxes at work and I'll tape them closed and cut out a door and window. They play in it and play "house"! lol

Since reading your post I have only been able to find one reference to hampster tubes. It warned about gliders injuring their feet by getting them stuck in the slits in some tubes. Cardboard tubes do sound much safer. Sorry, I failed to note where I found this info and can't seem to find it again for the life of me.

Help, I just purchased a sugar glider, I was told she is 2 months old and should stay on formula for 2 more weeks before introducing fruits and vegetables. Any advice on this.....should I start sooner??????

There are also ferrot tubes that are just like the hamster tubes except they are bigger. I don't know about the safety of them. Maybe someone has suggestions on thier safety?
