Have you already made a batch of BML? Thats the most importiant food for me. After that you can buy a bad of frozen veggies and a bag of frozen fruit...also go get your insects.

I am making the BML tonight and am getting crickets tomorrow, but i have heard that frozen fruits and vegetables should not be fed to gliders.

Who told you that? Thats not ture at all. The stores sell frozen fruit and veggies that have nothing added and their nutrients are not affected by this process. Its perfectly fine to buy frozen fruits and veggies. I normally but mine fresh and freeze them, but thats mainly for variety. There is no difference in buying them already frozen or freezing them yourself. Maybe you thinking of canned fruits and veggies? They should not be fed canned fruits and veggies.

Mine like frozen peas, frozen green beans, frozen squash slices (that I cut in smaller pieces), diced tomatoes, fresh carrots, fresh seedless grapes, diced apple pieces, diced pineapple (frozen), baby food sweet potatoes, and of course the BML! I give them the BML with the babyfood stuff (also give the the babyfood applesauces mixed with chicken or mixed with some other flavor) on one side of the dish and then give them the fresh or frozen fruit and veggies at the other side of the dish. They get a variety everynight or they'd get bored with their food and not eat much or skip. Yours might like different things to eat but you should try to get a variety of things and try them out each time and the ones you find they ate in the morning, give it to them again but along with some other new thing for them to try until you see what they like and don't like. Don't give up on the foods you'd think they don't like because on another night they might eat it so retry foods too. If you read and did your homework on studying up on gliders, you know they might not like you right away because it takes time for them to bond to you, so what you do is bribe them during the day when you're home with having them in their pouch under your shirt and give them a "licky" treat (that's the bribe) by using the Mott's flavored applesauces and dip you finger into it and wake them and let them get a couple of licks and take you finger away before they end up biting. It works very well and that's how I got my gliders tamed down. So get some of the Mott's flavored applesauce too. Good luck and let us know how it is going with them or him or her. Getting one or two? Well, take care!!!!!!

Hi, sorry. I forgot to meantion the crickets. Give them the crickets in the morning after their night with their food. Gliders love crickets and will end up filling up on them and not eat their other food so wait until you get up in the morning to eat their crickets. Feed two to three crickets a morning depending on size (if large ones, only two is more than enough).
