.... I do know that it is possible for her to have two to three pregnancies year. I have not, however, read anywhere that you can determine this by aggression between the two. I do know you will hear what may sound like "bickering" between them close to and at the time of mating, but I'm not convinced this is really what it is if the female is receptive. Rape by the male is a totally different situation where the female can definitely get hurt ... I believe this situation should be very clear and should be stopped if at all possible.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the females seem to come in heat about once a month.
