I am going on vacation for 5 day in April and will be out of town. I am wondering if there is anyone in or near the Milwaukee, WI area (I actually live in Horicon) that would be interested in watching my gliders while I am gone. My mother in law has done this in the past but she really doesn't enjoy it. I have four gliders, two girls and two boys. I will admit that one of the boys is a bit sassy...likes to bite. I would be happy to return the favor for someone. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. Thanks, Teresa Brett, Gracie, LeRoy, and Puggie

I have a neighbor who will feed the gliders, but is sort of afraid of them ... they can be very intimidating, can't they. So, what I do is make up their food dishes, place them in ziplock bags and label for each day. You can even put mealies on the plate since they will be refrigerated. Then all my neighbor has to do is come over sometime in the early evening BEFORE they wake up and take the dirty dish out replacing it with that nights meal. I also make sure that there is ABSOLUTELY NO INTERACTION between the caregiver and the gliders so they will not be stressed or upset by a new person. The longest I have been gone is a week and they have been just fine. Hope this is helpful. Let me know how it works out.
