I've had my glider for a year and two months now, and she seems forgetful. She's completely spoiled. Great diet, excercise, attention, etc... but... When she wakes up, she acts as though she doesn't remember me (for a good half hour). She acts as though she's never seen her cage before, or that she doesn't know what food is, or what she's supposed to do with it. After she's up for a while, she's just fine,... but I was worried, and just wanted to know if this is normal...?? Any help would be just great... I don't get online often, so if you could e-mail me responses, that would be awesome. osadchuks@yahoo.com Thanks so much...

... I wake up from a very sound sleep. Unless this becomes worse and you see other signs that something might be wrong (falling over/unsteady on her feet) then I wouldn't worry about it. I have been watching my gliders wake up since this post, and they seem to take their time coming out bed and they don't eat right away even if food is available upon waking. Hope this is helpful.

How old is your glider? It might have to do whith the age. Or maybe its lonly. do you have enough time for it. If not I would recamend getting another glider for company. Emma
