I know that we don't like the sale of live animals on E bay but those of us who use e bay are the ones to do something. E bay is a community monitored web site just as sugargliders.com. When you find that kind of thing just click on Safety & Rules report it. Ive always found them to be very prompt in removing the auction & they will ban the seller if they break the rules again.

I have tried several times to figure out how to e-mail/contact ebay that it is illegal to sell these gliders ... either on ebay or by unlicensced owner.
My question is this .... how do I do that? Is it necessary for me "join" ebay and get an ID number or is there something I'm doing wrong.
I would really appreciate any help here. Thank you.

KarenE, you dont' have to sign up for ebay to report those kind of auctions. I reported the baby glider as soon as I saw the post on here. All you need to do is email safeharbor@ebay.com and they will promptly do something about it, it was closed within a couple of hours of the time I emailed them. I have had wonderful response to my safeharbor emails. Hope that helps!

I don't think you have to be a member just click on safety & rules at the top of the page and follow the directions. They have always been very quick to respond when I've reported to them.

...just want to make sure I am prepared for the next time. We all hope there won't be a next time,but then we will see someone else trying to sell SG.
