I just brought home my new glider. I have done a ton of researd over the past few months but have not been able to find the answer to a few questions. I was wondering where in the kennel I should put the food dishes and water bottle. My cage is about 4 feet tall with the bed-box at the top, and branches running throughout. So far I have distibuted the food dishes all throughout the cage, but always near a branch, with the water being close to the floor. Is this cool?

Since gliders like to pick their food up in their hands and move to a different location to enjoy, it sounds like you have a very good setup for this. I hang my water bottle from the outside of the cage with the spout sticking into the cage. That way they can hang on the side of the cage to drink and it also makes it easier for me to refill as needed. Speaking of water, I am sure you have read in your research that it is definitely best to use bottled water to eliminate the possibility of guiardia which can be quite dangerous for gliders. Good luck with your new little one.
