I feed mine cooked. However, I really don't know if they can also be fed raw. We usually bake ours and I let them have a little butter or brown sugar on their. I feed these more as a treat than as a regular veggie

I've never tried feeding them raw sweet potatoes because I thought they were toxic unless cooked. I have no clue where I got that from, I've just figured better safe than sorry

have u ever tried to cut a raw sweet potato? ::laughing:: i had to get out the biggest darned kitchen hatchet i could find. i gave up. i figured they just HAD to mean cooked sweet potatoes. thank goodness though that i couldn't get it cut up.....
