A good nectar to give gliders is glideraide. It is formulated for them specifically. I think hummingbird might have too much sugars in it b/c of their high metabolism. Also, lorie neckton is a suppliment that has been ok'd in the past before glideraide was around.

A better substitute for dog biscuits is monkey buscuits or parrot buscuits. You can buy monkey buscuits at the feed store, but you have to buy it in 50lb bags, or you can order it online in small quantities. I can't remember where though. Someone can probably give you a link. You can buy parrot biscuits at the pet store. They are essentially the same thing. The problem with dog biscuits is that they can be high in fat. That is why vets recomend keeping doggy treats to a reasonable limit or the dog starts getting a little on the chunky side.

Hope this helps!
