Tofu is a good source of protein and a lot of people will use it in their gliders diet. I have found that gliders really don't enjoy the taste of tofu and if your glider doesn't like it you can cut it in to little pieces and mix it in with their diet. I don't use tofu, I don't want to give my glider what he doesn't really won't, (I spoil my lil skyler!) Some gliders do like tofu but it depends on the glider.
Hope I helped.

I remember someone posting a while back they fed their sg tofu, and they loved it. I have tried it with mine, but they didn't seem to care for it. I haven't tried it with the newest joey.
I don't know about freezing since we don't eat it ourselves. It might tell you on the package though.

I do give my babies tofu. You are correct that alone they don't like it as it is flavorless, but mixed in their food they will eat it. The downfall with tofu is that it needs to be used within a couple of days after opening.

We found that if you put a package of tofu and a whole mango(de-pitted) with a little bit of orange juice in a blender, and then freeze the mush in ice cube trays, they seem to like it just fine. You only need to use enough orange juice to blend it all together...its not a main ingredient. They seem to find it even more apppealing if we put a little bit of yogurt ( also a good source of protein and calcium) or fruity baby food on top when serving. Yummmmmm!
