Just a funny story. About a month ago I had a rare night shift and came home beat. Bobby, my boyfriend had the babies out and was playing with them. I gave them a quick hello and went to take a nice bath. (Try and guess where this is going) Well about half way in to my bath, bobby came in to get somthing out of the medicin cabnet with Puka on his sholder. Well Puka saw mom and leaped in to a huge pile of bubbles. I think he was quite suprised to fall right throw them SPLASH !!! well he swam right to mom and that was followed by some, get him off!! get him off!! Well I think he was a little suprised but we dried him off and he was fine.

It is my understanding that gliders can swim for a VERY SHORT TIME. Then they get water logged and sink

I can atest to the getting waterlogged thing. I just recently got 7 rescues who were in terrible shape. They were filthy and had food and poop caked on them. I had to give them all a bath and see a wet glider try and jump is one of the funniest things. Wet gliders cannot jump hehehe
