I am sure that this is an alergic reaction but i wanted to know if anyone else has this problem I have to wear a long sleeve tight shirt with a flannel over it (to give them somewhere to go), when i have my gliders out for "play time" the reason is that when the run up and down my arms or down the back of my shirt those teeny tiny scratches you get from there claws ITCH LIKE CRAZY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have always had this problem with cat scratches, just wonder if anyone else DEALS with this

hmmmm...i actually let Juno climb all over me, shirt or not...leaves a lotta marks (little red tracks =P), but I've never had a reaction to it. When she pees on me (this will happen, guaranteed), I always wash it off immediately, and I make sure she doesn't get it on her feet or fur--this may have something to do with the reaction, it's the only thing I can think of other than bacteria, I don't know for certain but it's something to consider...

this is actually very common, as their nails are extremely sharp and they come to a point, the point actuaclly goes into the pores of your skin, what we have done is use alcohol poured over cosmetic pads and placed in a plastic air tight container. This sounds bad, but not as bad as you think. it burns for only a second, but we have no welts, itching or burning from the claws at all. I can not wear anything tight on my arms, so the long sleve bottom shirt for me is out of the question. Trimming their nails do not help in this case. also if she is still a bit scared she will have her claws out more often. Baybe doesn't use her claws on me unless she feels she may fall. like when I turn my arm. Just another idea, but i did want to tell you this is very common.

I have had this happen to me too and believe you me scratching just makes it worse frown
The alcohol does work wonders.

ya I do use alcohol, they don't have to try and scratch, it is just them running up and down my arm like they are latched on, they have never really glided and I think they are a little scared that they may fall. they only get to play in a small room (bath room) right now, When I move they will have a room all to themselves, so the death grip that they have on me may lesson. Thanks to all for your input. You know my gliders have never peed on me... (never say never right? raspberry ) now poop, thats another story!
