what kind of toys can we buy for gliders? all i have right now is a wheel, but i would like to get him some other toys too. i'm also looking to get a pouch to carry him around in, none of the pet stores around here locally have anything, i was thinking maybe petsmart or another well known store.. any suggestions on either subject here i'm open to... thanks!

Hope it's a wodent wheel that you have, as you can't use the hamster type wheels with the spokes. I use hanging bird toys, no chains though, they could break a leg or tail on those. Also, mine love things to climb on or play in, like a hamster house, they also love a little teapot that they have. They really like toilet paper rolls too, but doesn't take long to chew em up. As for pouches, I make my own. I have made them for other people as well, if you are interested, email me and I will send you some pic of my pouches. ;)

 You could also use ferret things like hammocks so they can play in those those grass huts r also good so they can hide in   ;)

They love the ferret tubes and hammocks and tents..ferret everything..they love it! They also love rope. Cotton rope is safe for gliders.

i know what kind of wheel your talking about that's not what we have,ours is plastic and i've seen him in it and it is safe, the worse he can do is run so fast on it he comes shooting out of it, but i do have it sitting down low so he doesn't get hurt. thanks for everyone's suggestions, anything else let me know.

i believe the problem with those wheels is more that they can get their tails stuck while their running on it and get seriously hurt. And they could also slip when running and get their feet between the spokes and get (once again) seriously injured. I hope this helps!

I HAVE USED HAMPSTER WHEELS( FROM HABATRAIL BRAND) (SOLID) & I ALSO USE THE TUBES & TUNNLES I HAVE ATCHED THEM TO THE CAGES THAT I USE & THEY GO TO DIFFRANT LEVELS & CLIMB LONG & SHORT TUBES & TUNNLES , I ALSO USE THE SKY DOMES & LOOK OUTS. I USE BIRD TOYS ,MCDONALDS STUFF TOYS,FERRIT HAMMOCKS & FUNNALS YOU CAN BUY OF THE ITEMS AT WAL-MART OR AT SOME PETSMARTS OR PETCOS I GUESS IT SOUNDS LIKE MY BABYS ARE "BRATS"SPOILED THAT IS ;)
