Okay, so now you have me a nervous wreck! I switch the boys over to Leadbeaters with the accompanying fruits/veggies/bugs and they love it. But I just read a post that says melted leadbeaters can kill them. I give them one ice cube cubby a night but mine only stays frozen in their dish for 10 minutes or so then it turns into a brown puddle - they still slurp up the mixture, but it sure isn't frozen. Am I supposed to remove it as soon as it metls, or can I give them time to finish it off first? N.

Lol I doubt anyone could possibly keep the mix frozen long enough for their glider to eat it frozen. The worry would be if you left leadbeaters, thawed, for like 12 hours. Then bacteria would start to develop. But dont worry your not doing anything wrong Angie ;)

I think you read not to heat it up....its ok for it to melt...just don't leave it in the cage for too long. Take it out the next mornign as soon as you get up. Also try not to put it in the cage until they are ready to eat.
