i'm just going to warn you all now.......you might think its a good idea to just breed your own mice so you can save money and feed the pinkies. but don't do it......I've had escapies.......mommys eatting babys.....and....not to exagerate, but the STINK IS SO BAD!!! we were at the point where we had to clean the cage everyday!!! changing the pine chips$$$$. It's just a BAD thing! I thought i was going to puck tonight when I was changing the pine chips in the cage and found all 4 babys died and riped open....and the blood....YUCKKKKKKK! please spare yourselves, and the sent of your home! don't breed them!

Personally, I don't even think it's worth the hassle to even feed them. Why not just stick to leadbeaters, crickets and mealies

Mice actually require a bit of experience to breed easily. And yes, they do tend to have an odor. I wouldn't care to breed them in my house, but they do fine in a barn

I would NEVER feed Winky mice. Besides, they're cute; poor things...

I would never force anyone to feed mice if they aren't comfortable doing so. I feel that they are good for my gliders so I do breed them and feed them. Mice are cute, but so are many other "food " type animals. I feel sorry for the mice, but my gliders love their weekly treat and I wouldn't want to deprive them of it.
