Hi, We just got a female glider from a veterinarian's office. She was given up for adoption. Is it best for us to get another glider? Are they more friendly when there is just one? Thanks. We just want to do what is best for her.

Try and see if she will bond to you first. If you can spend a lot of time with her, you probably won't need another friend right away.

Each glider is differnet. Males are very territorial and will generally not accept another male however msot will accept a female. The best thing to do would be take your male with you to the breeders house and see if he got along with the glider before bringing it home. I would not suggest buyimg from a petstore or listening to thei information on gliders.
