Im sure there's a "No Pet" rule... It is most likely against the schools health regulations... When I take them into my childrens classes the school needs to be notified at least 2 weeks ahead of time. They check with the classes listed allergies and other possible medical problems. Also, noone is allowed to touch the animal or cage except my own children... You may also want to consider the HUGE possibility of the glider waking up and not wanting to stay put. A school is a very large place to be looking for an active curious glider.

because you are pretty much stuck there all day I wouldnt run the risk of him/her deciding they are not tired. also think about crabbing..you could probably get busted if he/she started crabbing when you are in class. I know sometimes mine will if I get up to quickley or they hear a lot of voices around them.

dunno about a glider, but i have a gerbil whose mother was not feeding him, i feed him every hour, and i take him to school, in one of my rooms, and leave him there. between classes, i go and feed him. he's very sick and i will probably die =( but i want to do all that i can.

i had to do that with baby squirrels (I used to work at a wildlife rehab center), but I think that is a slightly different situation as people seem to be a little more understanding under those circumstances, and there really is no other choice. good luck with your gerbil

er...delete the "i" between "and" and "Die", i meant the gerbil would probably die, not me of course! I hope everything goes well, i've been nursing him and he seems to have filled out a little

This will depend on what you mean by school...what type school college high school lower? If it is not coolege then you risk being expelled from school for taking an animal in with you. Gliders do wake up soemtimes and make noises. So they are not always that eay to hide.

I would not risk it either. If you are just wanting to take you glider for others to see, maybe you could make arrangements to have your parents or a friend bring your glider for a short visit.

Since 5 out of 7 days are spent at school, it's better if your glider goes with ya. I did that to mine and he's ok. I let it out under covers and give it a grape at lunch. Plus they sleep most of the time except in the morning when they're a bit active. Go for it.
