I just got ours -- these things are FABULOUS.
I've had gliders for about 3 years and have been using the largest regular wheel I could get my hands on --
Since we've had no injuries and they seemed happy with the regular style (they played with it constantly)I never thought to get a Wodent Wheel - even though I had read several RAVE reviews by current owners.
Several months ago I replaced the delapidated wheel of one of my groups with a new stainless steel "regular" wheel -- they have totally ignored it since then.
But now with the Wodent Wheel, we all feel so much better -- It's larger than the largest regular wheel I could find, it's definitely safer and cleaner and the gliders seem to have WAY more fun with it -- especially the baby who wouldn't go anywhere near the old "regular" wheel -- even BIG mama gets in there and takes it for a spin -- and she's my fattest laziest glider.
So a note to all hard headed glider owners like my self -- Get a Wodent Wheel -- it's worth your babies weight in gold

Amen. I was also one of the ole timers who had not gotten a wodent wheel. We now have two and everyone absolutely loves it.
My next project is to hang one of them from the top of the cage. I understand they are much quieter when hanging ;)

i have 2 in my gliders cage, what can i say, they are quiet and MUCH safer then wire wheels, i recomend them to every glider owner.

Yeah...Yeah...Yeah....I STILL(after two years) haven't bought a wodent wheel. I know...I need to buy one(actually 3). My third cheapo plastic walmart wheel broke. GEEEEZ! Lay off! LOL
