whats the deal with some schools having gliders they send home with the different kids every three nights or weekly. i hear stories at work about some one's kid or school having a glider that the kids have had for 4 years that go to different homes regularly. the gliders seem to know what to expect from conditioning but it seems sooooo unfair to the little guys, if it's a school project it would seem the bonding thing would have been researched!!!!!!

Class pets are generally treated that way one kid takes the pet home for this weekened..and then the next kid does it. The idea is supposed to be that the whole class is taking care of the pet. Gliders do not make good class pets! Someone recenly posted here that they were a teacher that bought a glider as a class pet. I would hate to see a glider treated this way.
