i think you'd be able to tell by now. when my female is on the cage bars i can see a little growing lump low on her belly. 16 days in utero 2 months in th pouch, that would mean the babies would be 6 weeks in your pouch and ready to come out in 2 weeks. it would be noticeable by now.

Tigger, noodles are not very nutritious. They may fill up on the noodles and not eat the better food. Please reconsider giving this in anything but very small amounts. And are you sure you are ready for breeding? It isnt necessary and the glider world would be better if there were less gliders being sold left right and center. I neutered all my males three years ago and wish I had done it sooner. Please consider neutering your male and NOT breeding. FYI do you have a USDA license to sell the babies or are you planning to keep them. A USDA license is required even if you sell just one.

I have gliders two to a cage and I put about 4 mealworms in thier food dish each night. I hope that they share and each get 2 of the worms. but in one of the cages a have Angel the worm hog. And I know she eats them all because even if she was still asleep, once she hears the food dish being put in she hops out if bed and runs to the dish so she can eat the worms before Stinker wakes up. I's so funny I wish I could show everyone how excited she gets over the worms. Any way they would be fine with only one a night. meal worms aren't the best for them because they are fatty. I guess I would consider it thier desert item.

Mealwomrs are only fatty if: 1. The gliders are already on a bad diet..then mealworms is an excess in fat. 2. The gliders do not get enough exercise to burn off extra fat.Gliders do need some fat for energy. If they run in a woddent whell each night, or get out and run around the room then they will mostl likely burn off their fat. 3. They are given more than 1012 mealworms a night. Mealworms are really only cinsidered fattier than crickets. They are not really a fatty food. If you give more than 10 or 12 a night then you may have a fat problem, but if you feed less than 10 a day they really aren't fatty. Mealworms are not as fatty as most people think. Nuts are a whole lot worse. You could probably feed 10 mealworms a day and still have less fat then a nut a week. A lot of treats are fattier than the mealworms. Insects are a neccisary part of their diet...so don't worry about feeding too much unless you feel your gliders are overweight.
