Hi guys, wish me luck as I'm stuck handfeeding an abandonded baby girl. She is 2 days oop and her eyes aren't open yet. I went to feed my gliders tonight and found that my escape artist managed to get out of her escape proof cage and left her baby behind. I'm hoping I can find mama, but meanwhile I get to feed this little one. So far she is eating well, I'm just hoping it continues.

Oh my, best of luck to you, my thoughts and prayers are with you, your lil one, and Mrs. Houdini. I'm sure she will come back. Make sure to leave food and a pouch out for her so she can come back.

I do hope you find mama.. If you need anything to night.. you can call, as I know you will be up all night.. you know us nocturnals..  when things get quiet...  LOL.. Good luck and I mean that from the bottom of my cold, cold heart. ;)

LOL, you definitely have a cold heart. No sign of mama yet, but baby is doing well. She hasn't gone potty yet, but she is eating like a little pig  She is so small that I was concerned about her ability to maintain body temp. even in an aquarium with a heater, so I just put her in my bra and slept sitting up all night. Well, maybe slept is over stating it. I napped for 1.5 hours between feedings, I'm really tired now and I get to go to the office and explain why my bra is making strange noises today

I found my little escape artist tonight. She is safe and sound and back with her true love Unfortunately, she's mad at me and refuses to have anything to do with the joey  Now I get the pleasure of sleeping in a chair for the next 7 or 8 nights (until joeys eyes are open) so I can keep her warm and feed her every 2 hours. Sometimes I think I must be crazy

Well, I'm happy to report that Rosie is doing well!! She is now letting me sleep for 4 hours at night Her eyes have opened and she is gaining weight
