My sg had 2 babies. Her pouch started to swell and got really red. This is my first time having sg so I do not know if that was suppose to happen. But, I woke up this morning to find that she chewed off the head of one of the babies. I took it out the other one, but don't want to put it back. I don't know if sg are like hamster with the whole babies thing. So, I like some suggestions. If I shouldn't put it back, what should I feed it? I am following my friend's recommendation for puppy milk powder with sweetener. I hope this doesn't happen every time the girl has a baby.

Did the babies just come oop? If the joey doesn't have its eyes open yet, it will be very hard to keep alive. The joey needs to be kept in a warm, moist environment. Here is a link to my story of hand feeding. http://www.sugarglider.com/realstories/Buddy/buddy/html
