I am sure you could find something else, but I doubt it would be as healthy for your glider. The leadbeaters mixture really only takes a few minutes to make and you don't have to make it that often, b/c you can freeze it and use it for a while. It is also inexpensive to make.

On my site there is a section on what they eat. This might be helpful to you. Is the problem that you don't have freezer capabilities?http://www.toandfrogliders.com/FileHierarchy/InfoPouch/NewJoeyOwners/WhatTheyEat/WhatTheyEat.htm

Actually it is easier to do the frozen way. Bourbon's Modified Leadbeaters is frozen, also veggies, applejuice, carrot juice. It makes life easy. I just make sure they have at least one thing to munch on every night. wink

I personally think bourbons diet is the best for gliders...but if you really dont want to freeze anything you could feed briskys accuffeed. However please be aware that a lot of gliders wont eat it. Also they get very little variety in this diet.

Do not give seeds to it as treats. Maybe one or two per day is enough. But if it gets 2 much, fat will build up in its eyes and it'll go blind. And babies might also be born blind if the mother's too fat on nuts or seeds.
