As an occasional treat that's fine I even give mine cherrios. Try hanging them on a string too as a toy/treat....

KarenE Posted about stringing them up a few weeks ago I think. Sounded like a great idea to me too. The gliders love them and have alot of fun pulling them off.

Sorry about that. Sometimes my fingers get going faster than my brain Anyway, yes I posted about this. I use a thick shoe string and alternate fruit loops with cheerios then hang from the top of the cage near the side though so they don't get their nails caught and possibly hurt themselves. Mine absolutely had a ball with this and also finished every last bite of their regular meal. It's great fun to watch them figuring the fastest way to get them off.

There are other cereals that are just as fun like honey coated cheerios, and they are healthier
