Hi,
my gliders had babies and they have been out of the pouch since August 31, their eyes opened one week later. My question is, am I suppose to separate them from their parents if I plan on selling them? If so when? Will it not be o.k. to leave them with the parents until the day I sell them?

I would not take them out any sooner the 8 weeks OOP. I would not leave them in long enough to breed either. At 6 months OOP the males have been known to breed, and the females have been known to get pregnant.

I agree with John. The joeys need their parents until they are at least 8 weeks oop. They will teach them all they need to know about sleeping in pouches and eating solid food.
Please, please do not plan to sell them before they are at least 8 weeks oop.
Personally, I like to wait until they are 10 weeks oop.

I just say your post. Sounds to me like you need a vet. I would keep trying. What does your diet look like? Sounds to me like HLP. I am no expert and I am not looking at your glider but that’s just a very logical guess looking at your post. Have you read the real stories? http:www.angelfire.com/nb/sugarglider/index.html has some. Please let us know more info. Let’s see if we can't help your lil one out.
