Guys, I started this thread because we were getting off the subject on the other one. I have those cage cups that bolt on, but thought they were inconvenient. The glider (or even small birds) would have to go inside the cup to eat/drink. They could also drown in the water cup. I'd rather buy the ferret kind. They seem more convenient.

That is why water should be in bottles, not open in a cup. Yes my guys sit over the bowl but I use the largest bowls and even the cage with five gliders manage very well with these. No matter whose big butt is on the cup another glider can get to the food. But then I do use three bowls per cage- vegetables, fruit and extras (leadbeaters, yogurt, glideraide).

That's true! At first, I only had the water bottle. I wasn't sure if she was drinking any since they drink only a small amount. So, I put under it a small, shallow dish. I made a habbit of this. I think she likes it because some times she sticks her feet in there.

My gliders gets inside it sometime (only when it is empty) and acts like they have another place to sleep. I have the large one.
