Hi,
Has anyone ever used fanny packs for people to carry their gliders around? Has anyone ever made some,or modified them? Has anyone ever purchased a fanny pack made just for gliders? Thanks,Sparkey

Hi, this is my first post to this board, but I have been comming here for quite a while. I have 2 girls and I use large lined fanny packs for them sometimes with great success. It works really well.

I had a couple of packs that I had picked up just laying around and could not find their regular pouch. I think I picked them up at a doller store. I put my baby in one and she just settled right in. These are good size packs not the little bitty ones. I have now taken a couple fanny packs for use just for the girls. My husband takes his little honey Gizmo in one and I carry the baby Gadget around with me. They are easily worn under your shirt. We are now lining a couple more of them for spares. wink wink

I also use a fanny pack for carrying, and sometimes leave it in the cage as well. They keep pretty warm it it when its cool in the house because I only leave it unzipped enough for them to crawl in and out. With a piece of fleece inside for a blanket, they love it. I got mine from Eastern Mountain Sport for about $15- very durable, washable, and water-resistant.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has found that fanny packs work well for their gliders. I think they are wonderful. They seem to be comfortable for both my glider and myself.

i use fanny packs for my gliders, I modified mine a little by using a grommet kit and putting in grommets for air holes so I can zip them up when I don't want them out running around,
