Hi, my glider is really wild. He will not even sit still for one second. He wont sit on my lap nore just on my arm, only my shoulder. I dont like it when he sits on my shoulder all the time. He needs to learn that it is safe to sit somewhere else on my besides my shoulder. i dont mind him sitting on my shoulder sometimes but everyday, each play time, each petting time: always on the shoulder. I can I teach Skyler to sit somewhere else on me besides the shoulder? Does anyone have a glider that will do this? Or do all the other gliders happily sit on your lap while reading or watching tv? Please help!

Well, my little Woodstock is quite hyper. He also won't sit still. Even if I try to hold him during sleep time, he comes alive and is all over the place.
His parents are fairly calm but totally involved with each other. So I thought when Little Woodie came along that I could bond so that he would be the sweet little glider I wanted him to be ....
yeah, right. Woodie is Woodie and I can't say that I would really want to change him. It would be nice for him to sit with me while watching TV, but alas that just isn't his personality.
My advice, just love him for himself and cherish any moment he is still whether he is on your lap, arm or his favorite place - your shoulder
