I took Kiki to the vet a few weeks ago and asked that very same question. According to the wonderful people here, the vet will weigh the glider, should do a fecal exam twice a year, and can trim the nails if you need help with it. That's about it. I was charged 40 bucks just to have her weighed and nails done, but at least her vet has a baseline of her behavior and how she looks in case something should happen in the future. Hope this helps!

can you imagine holding a sugar glider down while the vet tries to stick em with a needle designed for someone 3x bigger?? hehehe Except in extreme circumstances, sugar gliders dont need shots, just a check up. Erik and Co.

GLiders require no vaccines! Lucky us, since those vaccines get expensive with our other pets. THe only time gliders need shots is if they are sick and need a medicine shot, whether it is an antibiotic, fluids, or vitamins.
