I started my babys on your beaters mix about a month ago. well I have a problem getting the Heinz chicken and gravy. I'm always finding myself waist deep digging through the gerber products looking for the Heinz! I know that you said don't change the recipe cause they might not like it so I want to pass this by you. I cant ever find Heinz chicken and gravy!
I started off using the step 2 Gerber chicken and chick/gravy.
 which has total fat 4.5g, sodiam 30mg, potassium 110mg, carbs 2g, and 0 fiber and sugar. and the protien is 47%, with no vitamin a,or c. 10%calcium, 4% Iron,and 15% zinc.with total calories 80!
O.k and the other option was the Heinz chicken & chicken broth! stage 2 total fat 3.5g, sodiam 40mg, carbs. less then 1g, 0 fiber and sugar. 9g of Protien, 60% protien, 0 vitamin A and C. 10% calciun and 8% Iron. with total calories 70
so do you think either of these would be a good substatute? I've checked every store around here and they all mostly have the Gerber so It would be helpful to know that I could use one of these as a replacement! thanks for your help!
 Eva

Go to 7-11's they usually carry Heinz Baby Food But I changed the recipe before and my baby loved it just make sure that the ingredients do not contain ONION POWDER it is very dangerous. I used the BeachNut kind or something like that four pack of Chicken and Turkey something. Hope this helps.

Gerber is the one I use. Could never find Heinz. I think it should be ok. Ooops, I just realized this question was for Bourbon. I don't think she's answering any right now, but there's a lot of other helpful people who'll answer your questions.

LOL, Heinz has changed their chicken in gravy to chicken in broth (at least here in CO). I don't think it makes a difference since the only ingredients in the Heinz chicken in broth are chicken and water.

Heinz no longer sells the chicken and gravey..they changed the name to cheickn and broth..so just use that one. I have had to use it one time now..and peep still eats it just fine.
