It seems like they should be cleaned every now and then. Is there any way to shampoo them or clean them somehow? I never see my sugarglider cleaning himself.

that is very strange, because gliders are known to be very clean (mine clean their fur like cats all the time) i would recomend that you do not give them a bath...most of them hate water..and you would also run a risk of them catching cold when they get out...

How old is your glider? They shoould deffinitly groom themselevs and often. If you need to you can use warm water on a cotton ball or soemthing like that...but do not actually bath them.
