I have been doing alot of research lately and have found out that glider eyes are very sensitive to light. But what I was wondering how much light is okay for them?( I realize this is kinda hard to write down but please try). Thanks alot

I am not sure as to how much is too much...but they are nocturnal and in the wild the moonlight is the only light they are aroind...so their eyes are not really made for bright lights. I know persoanlly my glider will not play in light thats much more than a tv or nightlight...but not sue as to how much is safe.

We have extremely dim light in the glider room -- a 15 watt bulb, with the fixture (it's on the ceiling) to dim it even further.

My gliders will get up by very low lamp light, however they prefer the lamp which is farthest from their cage. They really get going when it's only TV light. I have also noticed that if we have someone over who doesn't leave until late, they don't get up until they are gone OR the lights are all off with the exception of the one low lamp which they tolerate.
