okay, i'm really stupid for a nurse. i didn't think male animals (the furry kinds, with four feet and tails) could mate if they were nuetered, but i read a post where some nuetered male was "doing" it. i've had mine nuetered and not seen any activity like that.

My male is neutered and he tries to "mate" with my female all the time!

Neutered males can still mate, they simply can't produce sperm. Usually when an animal is neutered, his urge to mate is lessened. However it does not always go away completely. So while they might mate, I wouldn't be expecting any joeys Brittney

I agree. Little guy is just staying in practice ... shooting blanks If he happens NOT to be shooting blanks, then I would say you will have free vet care for quite some time, LOL

I've noticed that glider neutering is similar to that of horses or dogs. It all depends how old your male is. If he's older when he's neutered and has already been around females, he'll retain the habit. If he's younger and has no female experience, he'll become a little furry "monk." Murry was "snipped" at an older age and is still very lustful over his girl, Zelda. Their son Loki was neutered at a younger age, and has never shown an interest in his mom. That's just as well, otherwise I'd have to re-name him Oedipus.
