my glider lost some of his hair on his tail. i took him to the vet and he said it was self mutilation. he put him on some antibiotics to stop the infection from getting worse. three weeks later hair was growing back. vet said if it goes untreated glider may start chewing skin. take him to vet right away, even if it is not the same situation.
