I am Jim and I am currently living in Iowa City, IA. Probably move to Maryland, near D.C., as I am going in the Army as an infectious disease epidemiology officer. Tootsie= the 1st and sweetest she is 1 and a half years old, and her boyfriend is....
Scruffy= our newest, purchased a month ago at the age of 3. Also tame. Balding!

Rusty= he looks rusty! we got him and Sunshine his girl friend from a retired breeder. She didn't play with them, didn't know how old they were, and didn't really care. I think they were just breeding stoke to her! But rusty is warming up to us.
Sunshine= has a brown head and grey body. not tame, but we are workin on that.
cage 3
Jr.= 2 months oop. we purshased him with sunshine and Rusty. he's their baby.. I'm working alot with him. and he's beginnig to tame.

Stinker= breeder said he can't be tamed after she had him 5 months oop. she said she was just not going to mess with him anymore. he's calmed down alot since then, we can pet him now but still can't hold him. he's almost 1 year old. his girl friend is Angel...
Angel= AKA: Miss Piggy, semi tame lil nippy still. she's a PIG our fattest glider. cause she eats all the mealies before Stinker can get to the dish!

My name is Beth. We have one glider named Curly Fry, we will be gettig another female next week. We live in Colorado. We have a dog(Thunder), a rabbit,(Thumper) a tinyitel (Agustus) frogs, and fish. We will be getting a puppy this weekend. We can't have cats my husband is allergic to them, but I work for a lady who has 40 cats, 15 dogs, 3 birds, 3 donkeys, and 2 ducks. I love working there, I certainly get my fill of cats.

Mary,
I guess my title would be house manager, I do everything from making appointments to giving cats insulin shots. I take care of the house and the animals,(feeding, medicating, and cleaning up after them) there are other people that also work with me. It's a very laid back flexible job. I love it because I can get my kids out the door in the morning and be home for them in the afternoon. I love animals, so it's the perfect job for me. My kids get to go out with me during the summer, they also love it out there...Beth

Hi,
I'm Peesh and I live in Oregon. I have 1 glider named Maddie. She is 7 months out of pouch.
I have been posting here ever since I got Maddie. As of late, I have only been checking the board about two or three times a month. I am now in school (I guess Maddie is too since she goes with me). This is the first time that I have checked out the new board. I have not figured out which way I like it better. I see that there are still quite a few names that I recognize but many that I do not. Anyway, I have 2 cats and 2 lizards other than Maddie.

Glider: Gidget (I don't know her exact age since I work at an Exotic animal shop and some guy who didn't want her anymore brought her back. I arrived as he left, so I never found out all the info. She is Def. over a year though, Very playful, but was scared at first...I don't blame her.)

Hello! Hi winkys mom...I seriously doubt that your glider is only 2 months old. If you got her at a month old then she would not have survived unless she was bottle fed by you. Most pet stores sell older gliders because it takes them a while to sell them...a lot of times they do not even get them until they are several months old. this is because they often get gliders that breeders have had a hard time selling.
So your glider is probably several months old possibly as much as a year or more.

I figure i have to now reintroduce myself because i now am the proud mommy to my two sugar gliders, Gadget and side kick. I will soon be a very proud grandmom to 2 joeys as well. Yes when i get into something.. I REALLY get in. I love them so very much and so far they have been WONDERFUL! No crabbing no barking ! They LOVE crickets, and i seem to be getting the diet down pretty well.
