This is my first time posting. I just got my 4 month old glider about a week ago. He now lets me put my hand in his cage and he lets me pet him. But when he is in or out of the cage it is difficult to get him into a pouch. I am probably trying to early but for future references, do your sugar gliders just hop right into the pouch or do you bribe them with treats? Any response would be truly appreciated. Thank you. Paul and Titas Ru.

Put a favorite treat in front of his nose, guide him with it into his pouch. That should work. My glider will go into anything warm and dark, so she just hopped right in.

I dont know about anyone elese, but I wait until my gliders eat and play a bit and as soon as they head back to there sleeping pouch, I gentely take them out one by one and put them into the travel bag while trying to cover their eyes as best I can, and that is not very well I can tell you. Once their sent has gotten into the other bag they seem to just walk right on in, the problem I have is they want out and I do not have leashes for them all so I dont let them out unless I am in a glider safe area, and away from home...well it is almost imposible. Well hope this helps.

WE HAVE AN EIGHT MONTH OLD FEMALE WHO JUST HAD A SET OF TWINS. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS, WHEN THEY CAME FROM THE WOMB THEY DIDN'T GO TO THE POUCH SO WE HAD ONE DIE AND THE OTHER WE PUT IN HER POUCH OURSELVES. WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS WHAT ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE AFTER LEAVING THE WOMB. I AM WORRIED IT WAS TO PREMATURE.
