I have never heard of anyone using the Chinchilla bath for gliders. I doubt very much that they would use it like chinchilla's do anyway.
If you glider has an odor problem caused by urination .... are you keeping the cage as clean as possible.
Also what diet are you feeding? Sometimes the incorrect diet can also cause odors in gliders.
If your glider is urinating very frequently, then you should have him/her checked out by a vet. Could be a urinary tract infection.

The chinchila dust is very bad for gliders!! It can cause respiratory problems...please don't use it. Is the glider urinating on itself? tahts a sign of a health problems and is not normal. You need to get the problem fixed. What diet are you feeding?

If you need to you can bath your glider with soem warm water on a cotton ball. Just gently rub the glider...do not let it get wet..just damp. Helthy gliders should bath themselves.

This is a forum for discussion. Placements of messages wanting sugar gliders or selling sugar gliders will be deleted. I have raised gliders for nearly 5 years now and haven't ever had a problem with them smelling like urine. What are you feeding your glider?? If the smell is more musky (not really urine), your glider is unhappy about something. Also, even when gliders do mark (by rubbing their head or chest on you) it really does not smell. If you have more questions, I'd be happy to try to answer them for you.

Are you giving him vitamins. If you give too much this can cause the urine to smell also. For vitamins Bourbon says to use the Rep-Cal Herpevite. It's like the Rep-Cal calcium but instead of a pink label on a white jar, it's a blue label. If this isn't the problem, take him to a vet. And I agree with Barb, he could be unhappy. frown
