.i have just put them together like 2 weeks ago . they get along great . they havent fought once. but last night she made a hissing noise so i wanted to make sure they were not fighting . but instead they were mating. well i let them be. but then i went back an hour later to bring them and play , they were still mating. so i went back 2 hrs. later and they were sleeping so i went tp pick up dreamer and he grabbed her and started mating again. every time i went to look at them or play with them MATING. is this normal behavior?

Its normale for some gliders. Some gliders mate all the time! Some gliders never or rarely mate. This may slow down some after a while but don't count on it...lots of males will mate as much as they can unless the female stops them or they get neutered. Your female was maybe hissing because she was tired of it and wanted to stop.

FOR THE PAST WEEK I HAVE BEEN ON THE INTERNET OBTAINING INFORMATION ON SUGAR GLIDERS BECAUSE I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THEM. I HAVE A NICE 4X6 CAGE AND WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE TWO PAIRS. THE BREEDER I SPOKE WITH SUGGESTED GETTING TWO FEMALES AND A MALE. THESE WOULD BE 00P AT SEVEN WEEKS AND OF COURSE WITH DIFFERENT PARENTS. NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK AND AM OPEN FOR SUGGESTIONS.

If you are going to get two pairs then you will need two cages. I would not suggest getting a trio unless you plan on nutering the male very early on. Are you planning on breeding...or just having them as pets. A young trio would be ok if you were not breeding them.
