Something has been bothering me about my 4 month old Sugar Glider. Ever so often he willstretch the right side of his body, tiny his head to the right side nad open his mouth real wide. It doesn't look natural and to take him to the vet, well, he does'nt do it on command. Has anyone else seen this? Is it some kind of seizure?

It sounds to me like a stretch and yawn. Mine will do this when they first wake up or after a little "cat nap". I personally don't think it is anything to worry about. A seizue is more like the entire body convulsing and shaking. It is very different. Hope this helps.

I hope your right, I meant to type- tilt his head to the right above....anyway-he does this at odd times and for no reason, like while he's eating.

My male stretches alot too, just make sure he is eating, sleeping, and active and that nothing is preventing him from any of those.

My sugar glider stretches after he wakes up, every night. He is so cute when he does it ! He stretches waaaaaaaaay out, and opens up so you can see him real good. He hangs upside down as he does it !
