With Thanksgiving coming up fast I wanted to post this topic. As you know Bourbon has not been able to be available on the web recently. This is because of personal family issues. I phoned last night and B sounded pretty down. She also said she was not missed here. I disagree totally. Now at this time I want to say thanks for having B as a friend and a glider advocate. If you agree post here and show her just how missed she has been.

Well I want to say thanks to Bourbon for helping me recently with one of my gliders. Bourbon, you were a huge help and I am slowly working with him to figure out what scent he dislikes, thanks for spending so much time with me on the phone! By the way I do miss your expert posts here!

Bourbon even though I haven't been posting due to a death in my family I still read the post and I do definetly miss your posts as I have learned and am learning a great deal from you. I have also talked to you on the phone and learned a great deal from our conversations. Please don't think that you are not missed even on glider central you are missed. Please know that my prays are with you in your time of need.

Bourbon- you are extremely helpful and kind and my baby and I will never forget your help with diet. She'd still not be eating healthy if not for your help.

Well Bourbon, what can I say ... I really enjoy our conversations. Each day talking with you is definitely a learning experience.
For those who have read my Charlie's story on the Real Stories, it was Bourbon who was able to help me finally accept his loss and put him to rest.
Bourbon, although the miles may separate us, please know that any and all of us are ready to do anything we can to help.
Please feel free to call on us as we have done with you in the past and will continue to do.
That's what friendship is all about. We love you.

I never got to meet this bourbon, But I miss her because I am new here and need the expert advice I hear she gives. I will have my glider in 3 days and Im gonna need alot of help, and my glider may need help! So, come back cause a new mom needs ya!

Bourbon, we all miss you here! I have only been reading this board for about two months, but I have learned so much from you during that short time. I miss your posts on the board. You never hesistate to say what needs to be said, even if some people don't agree. Without you I never would have found the proper diet for my gliders, and they would not be as happy and healthy as they are today. Please come back soon. If you don't, how will all of the new owners learn how to care for their babies? No one knows as much or cares as much about gliders as you!

B, over the years Ive known you, you've given me help, love, and support. You've taught me not only important glider info, but also life lessons about love and friendships, problems and solutions, actions and reactions that you can't pay to learn anywhere. The trip to Disney with you, Nik, and the gliders at Christmas was just the cherry on top- embarrasing pics or not. Thats the kind of stuff that happens in movies not real life, but it does and I was lucky enough to be there. You may tease me about my slip ups with words sometimes but dont ever think I wouldnt miss that, or you, here, or anywhere. I dont think I could survive without your lectures now that Im used to having them for so long. Maybe Im addicted to them?
It means the world to me that you, among other people, have given me the chance to prove myself- that I am not a typical teen and I dont approve of animals being disposable. You've let me show you who I am and even with my flaws you accept me and continue to accept me each day I grow and mature. Hehehehe you've even put up with me when I was VERY immature and young. That right there says an awful lot, LOL
Dont ever think you arent wanted here, you and I both know you are. I told you before you're one of the most hated but most respected people in the glider comminuty. As you already know there are a lot of people who love you tho B. I, for one, am one of those people. No need to feel down at all- you've got me to tease about the rediculous things I say and do. LOL I thought you had enough of that in chat last night but Im thinking not, hehehe

OMG! Not missed on here?! Bourbon is the most helpul person I have talked to on the net. She is so concerned with every glider out there. She sometimes IM's me just asking how my little Sydney is doing. She cares enough to help everyone and I appreciate it. She is truly appreciated and missed!

I never met you bourbon, I dont think, and I'm really sorry I have been busy with work and a new addition to my family, and havent been near the 'puter for a couple of days, just wanted to add that I think you have some beautiful cages that I can only wish to be able to afford, and your leadbeaters mix was the only thing Gilbert would eat his first 3 days here. Its been 2 weeks now and his diet is a whole lot improved, he eats everything I give him now! But anyway, you have an obvious love and knowledge about these little guys that I greatly admire and I am so sorry your having a hard time, a great many people here love you dearly and only wish you the very best, heres wishing you a much better year to come.....hope to see your posts soon.... Hey B, you and I have not gotten to know each other very well yet. but right from the start of my addiction to glidergossip I've know that you are one of the most researched and experianced in gliderstuff. and I know that you have been here for a long time and probbly get sick of answering the same questions all the time. And for that I already think your wonderful. it really shows how much you care about every single gliders well being. you would be imposible to replace......we need you and your blunt, direct answers to gliders problems from a to x! you are missed around here...I know that you are having family isssues. And I hope that everything turns out ok for you. but just remember we are your glider family. and we would not be the same without you!

Bourbon helped me out when my glider Arrow was discovered to be hypoglycemic. She helped me out with his diet. She posted his story on Real Stories and then when he died from a seizure talked me into doing a follow up story so people can be aware of hypoglycemia in gliders. She talked me out of a guilt trip I was going through on the phone and also helped me to locate two more gliders through some breeders that needed a good home. This was shortly after Arrow's death and taking care of Nero and Nuba has helped me with the pain of my loss. Thank you Bourbon for all your help and I want you to know that you ARE missed here and on other glider web sites! LOL!!!
