LOL My friend had a glider and she named him Jaccob. Then about a year later Jaccob became pregnant. Talk about a surprise! She kept the name Jaccob for the girl. WHy don't you keep the name Sassy?

If your glider responds to the name Sassy, then I agree that I would keep it. Gliders don't know that we have boy and girl names. They probably think we're wierd anyway

You think GLIDERs are hard to identify - try GERBILS! When my daughter was 2 or 3 years old she got a gerbil and named it Tinkerbell after one of her favorite characters (she was wearing that t-shirt). HE became one heck of a stud gerbil and sired many litters, despite his name! Of course, we thought it might be appropriate anyway, being as we live in New Orleans...

He isn't used to his name but i was just saying Zeik for a name maybe and he looked at me and responds to it. Its a very weird name but it fits a very weird glider,he isn't quite tame to me yet but he is totally getting bettter now that I am not jerking my hand away when he bites. When he bites its not that it hurts but it scares me,LOL but i made a fist and put it in his cage so that he would know if he bit me it would be useless and crabbing or fussing is useless also so now he does little biting and no crabbing, certainly approving!
