I have frozen crickets and veggies successfully, but am having a little trouble with fruits. Do you need to soak apples, pears, etc, in lemon juice or anything so that they don't turn brown before freezing? I tried cutting pears and freezing them but when I opened the container the next day it smelled like alcohol! Needless to say that was disposal food. Also, a question on kiwi...is this safe?
