I don't know about all your situations, but my glider's nails really hurt. I have red spots on my hand after every play time. I was wondering if their is a safe method to cut their nails or is it impossible to cut their nails? Please help!

What I do is I papoose them in a thin blanket. And take one paw at a time. I use a pair of slant tip nail clippers. Just cut the tip of the nail off. If you cut too short the nail will bleed. Some people clip their glider's nails while they are in the pouch during the day. They give their glider a treat and while they are concentrating on eating they take a paw out and start trimming.

i agree with Rachel2,i dont know if this works with gliders, but i keep my dogs nails trimmed and one time it started to bleed so i put cornstarch on it to clot it. P.S. don't do it unless it is not poisonise.
