We have had 2 female gliders for 2 years, and have recently received a new female baby glider. The problem we are having is one of the older gliders is very large, and has always been very much the dominant glider of the two. When we introduced the new glider to the smaller adult there seemed to be no problem. The bigger adult bites the baby every time we try. Right now we have placed a small cage next to the large cage, and have them separated. Any suggestions?

I would wait until the baby has reached close to his full size. You may not be able to introduce them at all. Not all gliders get along. Be prepared for that risk. Until the baby is full grown there will be a risk of him being beat up by the bigger gliders. I would keep him separate from the pair for right now.

layla I just went through the same thing just be patient i put the new glider in a cage next to the other one cage i i have a male and a female and just got a new female i dinnt think there would be any problem but the male hated her on sight. i switched there nest boxes every night for about ten days and let the other two out every night to play finally after about a week he would go up to her and smell her wihtout any biting and hissing finally i let them out together and they get along fine. she is till not as accepted as the other female but things are okay let me know how it goes.
