can you make a harness and leash for your glider? I heard you could get a reptile harness for them.

Most owners don't recommend leashes--you could end up with a frantic dangling/strangling glider. Ideally, you don't take them out with you until you are sure they are so bonded to you that the glider will STAY with you. Plus you can get some nasty bites trying to wrestle the critter into a harness. I would like to hear from owners who are using harnesses successfully...

I saw a picture in Caroline MacPhersons' book of one in a harness but i wanted to make sure.

I totally agree that harnesses/leashes are not the best idea for gliders. Getting them into one is a feat in itself. Gliders don't like the confinement that occurs when using a leash or harness. As most glider owners know, they are wonderful escape artists .... from cages, pockets, rooms, harnesses, etc. Once a glider is bonded with its human, there is no need for a harness or anything else. They will know that you are their safe place and will stay with you.
